Incubarte 7 counts with the support of the University of Valencia, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Miguel Hernández University (School of Fine Arts in Altea), with the possibility of the students interning with Incubarte’s team.

This year Incubarte will count with the collaboration of prestigious international Festivals and Institutions. The 2nd International Casablanca Biennale will show at Institut Français València a selection of its best works; Marte Castellon Art Fair will curate a special exhibition; 8th Bang Videoart Barcelona will screen a series of works from its previous edition. These collaborations will allow the exchange of artistic ideas in both directions. This exchange will provide visibility to Valencia, placing the city on the international cultural map.

One of the main and essential goals to continue to expand the Festival is the inclusion of foundations, brands, entities and sponsors who support and participate in the project. This would allow us to cover our own expenses and would help develop growth in an event such as Incubarte, the longest running and most important festival in Valencia and the only one focused solely on emerging contemporary art taking place in our city.

Starting this year, Incubarte International Art Festival will now take place biennially. To continue with its international scope, the festival has been invited to form part of the International Association of Biennials. We are currently working on establishing partnerships with the Biennials of Dakar, Casablanca and Azerbaijan through collaboration projects, promoting and encouraging the creation of international cultural networks.

The seventh edition will integrate within its exhibition events the European programme Vue Days, dedicated to social integration through art in different parts of Europe. The main objective of Incubarte is, ultimately, to create a fertile meeting point with an international impact able to show the city of Valencia as a living and growing cultural hub.
